A question for fun dealing with advertising!?

Question: A question for fun dealing with advertising!?

(Posted by: danielle on 2010-02-08 17:59:32)

I'd like you to do some research on the advertising industry's most creative ads. Keep in mind "creative " doesn't necessarily sell more product, or even make you want the product. Sometimes only the professionals see the creativity. Sometimes ads reflect the emotion of the country (think ads done following 9/ 11). The "mean Joe Green " coke ad of several decades ago is still talked about today (I recently saw an "update ", but it wasn't nearly as good as the original)! Or what about the 1984 Apple ad that literally changed the industry (and it was used only once, at the Super Bowl)? Find a creative ad(s) that has stood the test of time (at least 3 years old). We want classics, not fads. Let us know what you find, & why you think the ad is so good... using at least 2 ideas (underline the ideas so we can easily find them... Make sure you make the ad available for us to see, if possible (since it's nearly impossible to describe creativity).
