Question: Could you critique a promotional video that i made? how is it? how could i make it better?

I made a video on YouTube in which a plush doll Dogbert promotes an idea for me. Basically, he is encouraging people to vote for my idea in an online contest. I haven't had much response from this video. I'm looking for people who have experience promoting (i.e. advertising and marketing) their businesses, ideas, and so forth online using YouTube.
