and it works fine, it has been with me for year or so and never faced any problem with virus, any trojan horses are immediately blocked.Do I need to buy a paid one, are there chances that my computer has viruses or harmful stuff which is yet to be detected ? because there is no problem with performance of my PC except I hear a loud humming voice when my PC is on, it grows louder when I am watching a movie online from some website, otherwise it is a low humming sound, that is the only problem that I am facing with my pc.
Question about AVG anti virus scanning?
I notice that when I run a scan of computer, when it shows the current object being scanned I see it showing videos movies I streamed or watched online from weeks or months ago. I didn't save anything to my computer so how does it scan that stuff? Why?

Why does my anti-virus keep on saying this?
I have McAfee on my laptop and it keeps on popping up saying it can't check my security status at the moment as i'm not connected to the internet. I click retry and it says the same thing. So i've been clicking on ignore but it still pops back up It's annoying me now. What's wrong with it?I've opened up McAfee which says i'm connected to the internet i wouldn't be able to ask this if i wasn't and checked it security and it says everything is fine and secure. I did a scan of my laptop for viruses just in case but it found none. It says everything is connected and secure. So why does the message keep on popping up?I've even re set my homehub a few times and it didn't help.Can anyone throw any new light on this for me?Thanks, Lisa Michelle x x lol x x

My computer has become very slow lately and its starting to concern me, simple things like e mail are taking huge amounts of time to load and everything is laggy and unresponsive.I have anti virus on my PC specifically McAfee Total Protection its a full version, not a free version you can download that offers minimal protection.I have scanned my PC a quite a few times but so far my anti virus has said everything is fine, but I'm growing more concerned.If anyone could shed some light on this topic I would appreciate it.
