Is there something wrong with my goldfish?
I got a comet goldfish today from petsmart. I have him her in a 20 gallon tank with about 18 19 gallons of water in it. I put in the stuff that de chlorinates the water and everything. There is no gravel in it im getting that tommorow with the filter. Well anyway he shes just at the bottom of the tank in the corner looking out. he shes not sideways and already ate. Is he she sick? Are those big plastic rubbish bins safe for goldfish to be housed in?

Making sure it's safe for temporary living place.My main concern is if the plastic contains some toxins that might be harmful to the fish.I also want to use a bin instead of storage containers because I'm gonna have to keep them out in the pagola sp . Bins are UV resistant.

Why are my goldfish so big?
Okay,I have 2 comet goldfish that are between 1 1 2 2 1 2 months old and are 6 inches why are they so big my other goldfish the same age are only 2 4 inchesthey arent fed anything special either so why did 2 end up so big after such a young ageclose to 6 inches about 5 3 4 or 5 1 2they are in a pond

After a change of water, my goldfish are very still?
I have had my fish for over a year. Yesterday afternoon i changed the water as usual and put my ordinary goldfish back into their clean tank. however in the evening i noticed they weren't really swimming around. The two of them are both doing the same thing. they are moving their fins but sort of just floating around the top of the bowl. They also aren't eating really at all. They are the same this morning. They are usually so lively and i just want to know what is wrong with them? please please help

HELP! Black moor goldfish with ick/ich?
PLEASE HELP My 2 black moor goldfish have ick ich how do I treat it or help them?1 of them looks like they are covered with salt. And the other I believe is gonna get ick.They both lay at the bottom of the tank, next to each other.What treatment do you recommend? When do I put it in? I don't know what stage the ick is at right Now. covered with it looks like salt Do I remove the filter cartridge? But continue to cycle tank with the filter?Please, I'm a beginner fish keeper and I only had them for exactly a week..Thanks in aheadI don't mean to be picky but I'm really new. What do goldfish like better? Gravel Or Sand?
I have a comet goldfish and I need something at the bottom to put plants in to oxidize the water. The tank is 20 gallons for now, when he gets bigger i will move to 40 gallon one. I also am going to add some more fish nothing big, just 1 or two bottomfeeders what would a goldfish about 5" in length prefer, gravel or sand?

My goldfish has a strange bump on his head? Please help!?
Hello,I noticed about a week ago that my Fantail goldfish had a strange white bump on the left side of his head. I examined it closer and felt that it was kind of squishy.I don't have the materials to check the ammonia or anything like that, but the condition of my tank is currently a bit dirty I've been away on vacation and I haven't had a chance yet to clean it. But, I also noticed that a little bit before I noticed the bump, some brown algae started growing. Does this have any correlation with it?Whatever the reason, I would appreciate some advice on what it is what to do. What's the best way to feed my black moor goldfish?
I recently moved two of my blackmoors into a 55 gallon tank. In the smaller tank, I found they were blind but able to swim around and find the food. In the large tank, however, I need to shove the food down to where they are in order for them to find any and eat it. What would be the best way to feed these blind fools?
