what other fish can I put with neon tetra's..?? I want other species with these species cause I know for a fact that other types of tetra will end up fighting with these neon tetra I have a 20 Gallon tank just added clear clean dechlorinated water about a week ago with no fishes as of yet cause I want the water to finish cycling first I'm planning to get neon tetra's I know white cloud will be fine with them but i'm a bit scared of putting them with GloFish as they are fast swimmers and may attack the other 2 species not goldfish can you recommend any other fishes that will go very well with these fishes ??and if so how many fishes in total will fit my tank already got the tank so don't ask me to get a bigger tank and how many fishes per species

How do I know if my tetra is carrying eggs or is sick?
My son has 2 Neon Glow Tetras and one of them has gotten big over the last week, well the stomach has... The fish doesnt look sick, nothing growing on the scales or anything weird.. It is not lethargic and it is still eating... The other fish look great still... We have had them all for about 4 months.. Any advice would be great...
How many male and female congo tetra should I keep?
Does anyone know what kind of male to female ratio of congo tetras you should keep or does it not matter? I'm not looking to breed but I read in a book that you shouldn't keep too many males together as they can get a bit boisterous but I can't find this information anywhere else. I'm looking to get 6 and 6 males would look lovely but if that's not possible I need to know how many females to get. Thanks for any help.
Is the tetra whisper 10i filter too strong?
I just got the filter and plugged it in, and it looks insanely strong. One of my plants looks like it's going to be pulled into the filter water intake thing, it's about an inch from the filter... Is it overly strong or am I over reacting? This is my first fish tank so I don't really know about filter performance. It's in a 10 gallon tank. Would it be too strong for a betta fish?

My tetra has swollen eyes?
I noticed that my one black neon tetra was not coming for dinner, so when I looked for the fish, I found it drifting in the corner of my tank, with what appears to be swollen eyes. It is just floating around carelessly, only using its fins to stabilize itself. The other fish bumps into it, but it does not react at all. I have recently turned up the temp of my water to just under 30 29 degrees to treat for a possible ich infection, but I noticed the tetra behaving odd even before that. What is wrong with it?The tetra also appears abit pale...
What kinds of fish can live with live with black neon tetra sharks in a ten gallon tank?
I just got a ten gallon fish tank for my b day and I put 5 baby black neon tetra sharks in it. I want to find out which kind of fish i can put in with them. But the fish HAS to be at PETCO. I was thinking 5 more neon tetras sharks not the black neons regular neons. Anybody now Please answer imediately
Why is my Neon Tetra losing it's colour ?
I have 3 neon tetras, 2 dalmatian mollies and 2 guppies in a 30 litre biorb. I've had them for a few days. All of a sudden at night the neons don't swim together any more and they are not as red as they were, why? thanks.
