Question: What is the best program to use for digital art?

I want to make just digital art in general. I want some good computer programs to use and lots of info on them would be nice ^^

I use Photoshop and Illustrator... especially Photoshop... Photoshop is pixel-based and Illustrator is vector-based... Photoshop alone is good enough for most of your purposes... You would use Illustrator only for digital artworks or for designing printing materials that needs to be scaled...
