Never mind my last question, it was kind of stupid of me. My main focus on my trip I will be going on WILL be landscapes, as my friends I'm going to visit live near a beautiful waterfall and mountains. So what would you recommend as the best quality landscape lens for the Canon EOS Rebel T1i that is preferably under 1000 dollars?

Hi guys, I am 15 and I have been thinking about taking up landscape photography. I am fascinated by nature and love being outdoors. I can just trawl through landscape photos for hours. Anyways, I was wondering if the Nikon D3000 would be a good camera to start with. Also, I would like to know how to actually take the photos since I live in Surrey and I can't just drive somewhere. I think my family might think it sounds a bit stupid... Should i even take it up at all?Any help is much appreciated.Thanks guys. Man I am dopey. Where can I find fantasy landscape pictures to use on my album packaging for selling?
I'm in the process of putting together a CD audio album and I'm looking for some really cool pictures to go on the album cover.Ideally I want Lord of The rings " type" scenes, with fantasy landscapes etc.I don't mind paying a little bit to use the pictures, but I'm only likely to sell a few albums less than 20 so obviously any costs would have to reflect this.Appreciate any pointers.cheers
