Help me! my juniper bonsai is really dry!?
Help i got this cute little bonsai for christmas this year, and it was doing fine until i fell behind in caring for it. i only fell behind a little and i noticed it was really dry and brittle. there are some spots that aren't brittle, but are still dry. i have been doing my chores for it as i was told to, but it isn't responding. it is green, and it looks fine, but it put a perfect spin on the phrase looks can be deceiving. it is brittle, as i said, and small parts of the tips are now gone, but i have been misting it. i'm a plant lover so i know plants usually respond within a day or two. and this little bonsai is not. can anyone help me? i don't want this to end the same way for my boxwood. it died of box blight please help thanks you in advance.
Where can I find bonsai soil locally?
I bought a ficus bonsai and I need to repot it in a bonsai pot but I am not sure where to find the soil other than ordering it online. Can anyone help? Are there any major chain stores that you think would carry this or is it my best bet to just try a nursery?I got my bonsai at a nursery in a plastic pot like all nursery plants come so I had to buy a bonsai pot and I need to replace the soil it came in because it is not enough.
My bonsai tree will not grow!?
In Septemeber I got a Bonsai tree as a gift, and brought it to university with me, the leaves shed but then grew back within a few days and was a fantastic green colour, now the tree has lost it's leaves because I forgot to water it on a few occasions, I have started to feed him bonsai tree food once a week and have gotten in to a good routine watering him, however he still has no leaves and has moss or mold growing near the roots... please help

can i re pot my bonsai tree into a large plastic tub if i put a few holes on the bottom do i need holes? i have put new soil in with it and spreed how the bonsai roots please only people who are wanting to answer seriously thanks in advance to those people hello again , ok well i put my bonsai in a large plastic tub because it was starting to die and i didnt know what to do and i went and asked someone about bonsai they says to put it in a larger pot im waiting on one coming from ebay but until then they says put it in a large tub which i had, i dont want it to do it wasa present but will it survive in a large tub?
What type of bonsai tree do I have and how to I keep from killing it?
So I bought a Bonsai tree a few months back and was watering it every few days, but then I noticed it was starting to get brittle and my Horticulture major friend told me I needed to water it more. Well I've been watering it more, once a day, and it's still getting more and more yellow brittle. Help please? Can i plant a cannabis bonsai?
I came across a couple seeds the other day and my friend said they looked perfect to grow. i don't want a full sized plant because i don't smoke weed. but i am VERY interested in bonsai and since cannabis grows fast i thought i could practice on it. i have done some research and found that cannabis doesn't flower unless it gets 12 full hours of darkness a day. so basically my question is this...if i keep the plant near a window during the day and under lights at night will it stay in a vegetative growth for a few years or will it end up flowering anyways?also if i keep it in a really tiny pot will it stay really small and grow tiny 5 fingered leaves all over? i heard that if you keep a cannabis plant alive long enough it grows bark and a wood like stem. does this mean that it has potential to be a bonsai?yes i know that cannabis is illegal i just want to grow a tiny plant for looks because the leaves itself are beautiful and the plant gets gorgeous after its full grown even without buds. plus if i could keep the same cannabis plant for my whole life and passed down to my children i would be sooo happy. i will end up getting a normal bonsai tree like a maple or something but for now with all ive got i want to try this. will it work??

Should the moss in my bonsai always be moist?
because its sort of a browny colour more than greeni try to keep it as moist as often as i canhow can i keep this moss alive becuase it really adds to the scenery of my bonsai
I need to know if my bonsai tree is dead?
I got the bonsai as a gift about a year ago..i know most of them are outdoor plants but i am not going to put it outside. I keep it on my dresser in front of the window and today i went to close the shades and my arm swiped the tree, knocking off crunchy pieces of branch. I started touching all of the branches and a lot of them are dried and crack off very easily, HOWEVER these " dead" branches are still perfectly green as is the entire tree. I water it every week and i just did the " scratch test" and underneath the bark it looks like it is still green. If the plant is alive, why are the branches dying and what should i do to keep the tree healthy?
Bonsai Tree or seeds?
I've wanted to grow a bonsai tree for years, but I've never had time enough to do it until now. The thing is, growing a seed takes years I'm not the patient type , and buying an already grown tree is quite expensive. So I was wondering is it possible for me to grow a bonsai seed quicker if I use my Aerogarden? I've read loads of how to's about Bonsai, but I've never heard of someone trying it before. Do you think it's possible to grow the seedlings with the machine, then transplant them into a pot? If not, then I'm out of luck I guess. XD
HELP My Fukien Tea Bonsai Tree Is Dieing!?
I just got the tree this week as a late birthday peasant from my Aunt. I got the tree in the mail so when it got to me the tree was wilting slightly. I've been doing all that my Bonsai tree booklet says to do like, water, mist, keep in a warm room though the tree is still wilting I've checked the tree for pests but it doesn't appear to have any. what can I do to save my poor tree?
