Question: My dad got a bonsai tree for christmas and the leaves are turing brown and yellow?

My dad is gone for 2 weeks and will be back on the 23rd of jan.. his bonsai tree was doing awesome on the living room table. i water it every 2 days but now im starting to notice yellow and brown leaves. i dont want my dad to come back to a dieing bonsai tree. how can i make the leaves turn back to a green color. thanks

I think you might be watering it too much. Try draining out the pot, and water it a bit less. It won't recover by the time your dad gets back, but, it might recover.

You watered it too much. bonsai4me.com/ If you click starting out etc. Watering a bonsai can be very tricky. This web site can explain it better than I can.
