Decorating a nursery- ideas?!?
I am really early into my pregnancy, but my husband and I have been talking about nursery ideas for the baby. I don't know what I'm having yet, but any creative ideas would be appreciated I have always wanted to do Dr. Seuss theme for the nursery anyone know where I would get the furniture though? im having a baby in april. i used to work at a daycare, and during nap we put cardboard in the windows to block out the sun. i want to do something like this for my nursery. im thinking of decorating the cardboard with stock paper. has anyone done this in their room? any cute ideas or pics?

I really need help with my baby's nursery..?

How should I paint the walls in a nursery with leopard bedding?
Originally we were going to do black and white zebra print with fuchsia accents, and paint the walls with fuchsia and black stars. With kind of a punk rock theme. We ended up with a great deal on a really nice lifetime crib, and the finnish just wont match. pictured here toysrus.com product index.jsp?productId 3368925we were thinking about a leopard and pink bedding now, because the browns wont clash with the wood. we found a mini lovey blanket in the patterns and colors so we know it looks cute, I am just stuck on what to do with the walls.I don't need the walls to match, but to coordinate. I was thinking of ways to put her name on the wall. It will have to be painted in someway because her name is going to more than likely be Cordelia and that seems kinda long for those wood letters.

I painted my nursery a dark yellow. I have no idea what colors to use now to match? A border? Bedding? Help?

Do you think red is a gender neutral nursery color?
First off, we want one that in gender neutral. That way we can set up the room earlier in pregnancy, and in case the ultrasound is wrong the room won't be decked out pink or blue. It'll also make it possible to reuse the theme when we decide to have another child. Im TTC 1 right now Or wood of choice would be either Dark Cherry or Espresso. Maybe even a combination of darker and lighter wood, we like glossy and rich colored wood. Do you think designer themes are too much for a babies room? What paint colors go with light oak furniture in a nursery?
I just found and bought a light oak furniture set for the babies room. I was planning on dark cherry, and I had an entire room picked out brown and aqua . When the price of the light oak set was too good to turn down, I bought that instead. Now my whole room has to change, and I'm panicking. I always get dark furniture, now I have really light furniture with a yellow tone not my strong suit . What wall colors would make me love this nursery again? Help
