Why did they put the camera at the bottom of the nano?

Question: Why did they put the camera at the bottom of the nano?

Ever since they announced it, I haven't understood why they did this.. When you are holding it, your hand covers the camera! IGN's review says its for better grip, but how is it better grip when you have less space to hold it!? And even if you hold it upside down, you still need to press the buttons to control it so it could be very awkward, also I dont want my fingers all over the screen! And it would function the same way if the camera was on the top... so why...? I even tested one out in Future Shop just to see if I was wrong about this thing.. And yes, it is as stupid as it sounds.. You have to hold the thing by pinching it on the very bottom. Its very easy to get your fingers in the way of the camera. Maybe someone owns one and has had a better experience. Please I just want to know why they did this. http:/ / store.apple.com/ us/ browse/ home/ shop_ipod/ family/ ipod_nano?mco=MTY4NzA2OTg

They put the camera lens on the back so that when you point it at something, you can see the picture on the front - pretty simple.
