I am having a little trouble with an older pentax camera, can you help me trouble shoot it?
The camera is an, Asahi Pentax K1000. Its my parents old camera. They told me i could keep the camera if i could figure out what was wrong with it. Well, first off the camera seems to load fine and take picture well. The problem is in the develping of the film. What i developed the film all the photos came out blank. I'm not sure if the were either exposed on my part, or the developers part. Or if the camera is not take pictures properly. My parents said that they stoped using the camera but couldn't remember why, but when i mentioned the issue i was having, they seemed to think that may have been the problem. So, on the assumpton that this is the issue, what can i do to fix it or get it fixed?

Can you tell if a roll of film from an old pentax camera has been used ?I had a roll of film from my beach photo shoot, now i cannot find it, and i have an exam on monday.The other photographer could have chucked it in with the other un used rolls, with end bending the end of the film to show it has photos on it..... I suppose there is no other way of telling it has been used is there?

BULB mode on pentax camera?
I have a Pentax SF 10 Film camera. The manual says under " Using Bulb Mode" to plug in a switch the Cable Switch F into the camera but they don't explain if that's necessary.I was wondering if I NEED that switch, or if it just lengthens the amount of time the bulb setting can be used.any information would be helpful 1. how long does the bulb mode usually last? how long will the shutter stay open, basically 2. is the " pentax cable switch f" necessary?thanks

Hey I am trying to do a little research on this camera that I have had in my family for a while and I wanted to know just how much it is worth at the moment, It is an Asahi Pentax Camera . All I know about it is that on the lens it says 635 1274 ASAGI OPT. Co., JAPAN. SMC PENTAX M 1 1.7 50mm. and on the actual camera itself it says ME super. Im not sure if that means anything. I recently bought a used Asahi Pentax camera. However, I did not realize until I got home that the knob to roll film was not on the camera. My sister has the same camera, but broken, she said that if it was possible to fix the camera, she would let me take the peice from her broken camera. I appreciate any helpful tips on how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance
