I want to get into photography as a hobby and I have decided to buy an SLR Camera. Can anyone recommend any models good for beginners and what prices I should be looking at for a first camera? SLR Camera Model Comparison?
I am a novice photographer but want to invest in a nice SLR camera. What are the key differences between the Nikon D3000 and the Nikon D5000 camera's? I want to make sure that it has a feature that allows me to take multiple pictures per second for sporting events and is easy to use. The D3000 is up to $300 cheaper and I want to know what I would be missing out on should I go the lesser route. Is there something better out there for me? Thanks

I'm planning on buying a Nikon camera but having trouble picking one out. I'm not a professional photographer, but I love taking pictures of everything. So i wanted to buy one of this cameras but want it to be good for everything and for any event. Also to last me a long time that in 1 2 years i don't go out and buy a new one cause I got tired of the one I bought. The Nikon cameras I was thinking of are D90, D300, D500, D300s & D3100 The price is not an issue but if you think that one is the same or does the same quality as the D300s then please let me know.
