Our seven year old cat pees and poops everywhere?
Our cat is seven years old. A year ago, she started leaving poop marks on the carpet. She was also peeing on dirty clothes. She s been to the vet. They expressed her anal glands and took a stool sample. They didn t find anything wrong with her. Her problem is getting worse. Now she poops in multiple rooms, she pees on the bathroom carpet, and she pees poops on dirty laundry. My husband and I take turns cleaning the carpet. We use a pet cleaner, and sometimes we steam clean the carpet. The hardwood floor in the bedroom is stained from urine. We can t afford to replace anything. We clean the litter box, we haven t made any changes to our routine, and her food water is not near her litter. We also make sure that our toddler does not bother her. My husband wants to just wait it out, but her problem is getting worse, not better. I don't want to live like this. Please give suggestions.
4 year old cat swallowed thin stretchy string *The string is nothing like silly bands*?
Today I woke up and found some pink string hanging out of my 4 year old cats rear end... I told my dad and he said just pull it out but instead I called 2 vets and asked for there advice one of them said " Dont pull it out because it might cause severe damage" So I tried to see if I could pull out alittle without resistance and there was a bit of resistance. He has been my best friend forever and I swear if I lose his I would go insane He is such a great cat He has been normal so far eating a bit and playing around like he normally would Has this happened to you before and did your cat pass it? Please help and thanks for all the answers Thanks for the answers I will take more answers to though And I wonder how your cat got your hair to? LOL

Need advice on open hole in cats face!?
My cat recently had a swelling around its eye. We took it to the vet and was prescribed drops and a cream to apply. the swelling went down slightly and after one more visit for some antibiotics it burst and drained out. The swelling went down completely but a few days later the hole in the side of her face opened up and is now raw, about a pea size.
I am moving 60 miles from here. Is there any safe way to make the trip in my car less upsetting to my cat?
He's a lazy easy going guy, but howls on the way to vets, which is only ten minutes away. A 60 mile trip could take more than an hour.
Why is there blood in my pregnant cats feces?
My cat is pregnant, not sure how far along. We just noticed small amounts of blood in her feces. Is this just a normal part of her pregnancy or is it a sign of her about to have her babies? I want to guess that at this point it is normal. She went outside the first time May 21st 2010 but she only started showing last week.

What's the best way to deter my female cat from jumping on the table and sleeping there?
I have owned many cats over 23 years, however these have all been male and well trained. I took a female cat in last Sept, from 8 weeks old. She got pregnant at 10 months old and had 4 kittens. 3 of which are going to good homes, before I get any lectures on this. I also have 2 male cats and they mainly stay outside, they do have a catflap but prefer to go out more than stay in. They are neutered.Polly, the female cat, has got used to being kept in because of giving birth and having to feed her kittens. She does go out a lot in the day but I bring her in to feed her babies and to eat as she obviously needs more food. Her kittens are 5 weeks old today.I know cats will sleep anywhere, not necessarily a place you make for them but will go to their own preference. Over the years i've known my cats to have slept in cupboard drawers, on shelves, the floor and god knows what but never the table where I eat I have caught Polly on the table several times now and i've had to wipe it down so many times with anti bacterial spray etc. It's becoming a hindrance.So, how can I prevent her from going up on the table and napping there? I don't leave any food on the table but she knows I eat there. Any ideas? Please read the above before answering. I'm in the U.K.

How do i get rid of stray cats?
hi so theres this handful of cats which pisses all over the place and goes for my pets. they fight each other and make really loud noises which wakes everyone up. how do i get rid of them since they also go along my fence and into my yard? i dont want them dead or anything just gone and im not looking to adopt them. thx
Cats keep weeing and pooing all over the house?
I have two cats, aged 14 years old. One, or both of them, started weeing in the house in the bathroom about five years ago now following a house move. They also vomit alot. The problem has become progressively worse and I have never caught them in the act so I don't know which cat it is. Six months ago I started to have an occasional poo left on the carpets for me but now, it is a more than daily event 2 3 . I have tried all the lotions and potions to deter them from doing this including Felliwell . No joy. I am now cleaning up 2 3 poos per day, at least 1 pile of vomit per day and 2 3 wees per day. They have chosen the bottom of the stairs to do this so one day I am inevitably going to tread in it. One time, it crawled into the tumble dryer and weed on my clean clothes. I can't leave clean clothes on any worktops as they will get weed on. I can't accidentally leave a towel or the bath mat on the floor as that will get weed on. I have litter trays all around the house to prevent the carpets from being ruined but they sit next to the tray and go on the floor. Apart from ruined carpets, my house smells like a toilet. I have a three year old wandering around the house, who knows to look out for cat poo which I find mortifying . The problem has been seriously bad for a year now and I am at the end of my teether with it. I cannot afford to replace the carpets to remove the smell entirely... The structure of the house means I am unable to restrict them to one or two rooms. I really don't know what to do with them but I am embarrassed and dread the thought of anyone entering my house I would be mortified if I had uninvited visitors and was unable to disguise the smell. I can't face the thought of giving them away and having them spend the rest of their lives unloved, and in a cage... but at the same time, I don't know if I have the strength to spend my live constantly clearing up poo and wee and sick. Please help
