Bestbuy sent her two computers....she wants to sell the other one?
My cousin ordered a laptop from bestbuy and she found something wrong with it so she called and asked could she return it but get the same exact model computer...well the first lady said ship the one you have back to us and we will refund your money back an do the transactuon all over again an ship out another one once we receive it.My cousin thought it was dumb to have them refund her back when she wanted the same coputer she just wanted another one without flaws.Well days went by and Bestbuy never sent a return label for her to shp it back so she called back an another lady said " no problem we will ship you a new computer and when you receive your return label just mail the old one back" The lady at bestbuy said they dont require you to ship back items FIRST unless it something very expensive so they took a risk at shipping her out a new computer when she already has the first one in her possession, they have her information so she cant hide. But now its been a MONTH she never got a return label an she has both computers in her possession, bestbuy has not contacted her about shipping the other computer back an on her credit statement it only shows the purchase of one laptopshe said shes gonna sell it an if they contact her in the future shes gonna lie an say she shipped it back a long time ago and thought bestbuy received it.will she get in trouble? i told her not to do it but she said they cant prove she didnt ship it..and its been a month an they havent asked about the other computer i find that so strange lol i guess they would track it by the model an serial number but what would posess them to? i honestly think they forgot about it
Company administrator login won't work on home computer?
My wife has an administrator login for her company computer. Today that login stopped working on her laptop. We can log in from any other computer, just not hers. I'm confused. The whole thing is web based. Why would only her computer not allow us to log in?

What is wrong with my computer, mysterious tabs and freezing?
I video taped it so you can see for yourself, as I'm sure my description will do no good. But especially when it has been in sleep mode, or if I just left it alone for a minute, like got up to pee or make a sandwich it does this. It freezes, flashes, " not responding," it goes to full screen, the Firefox tab blinks and disappears and or it will say there are 2 3 4 tabs open when I did not open anything. Can I use an op cd from one Dell computer for another?
I currently have Windows XP w SP3 on my Dell computer. I am having some problems with it and cannot use the cd that came with my computer because I bought my computer in the late 80's early 90's. It says my cd is an older version than what is on the computer. I also went in a deleted my SPs and it still won't work. Someone has told me that if I can find a Windows XP SP3 cd from another Dell I can use that one. Is this true? Also, if not, how can I fix it otherwise without buying a new cd.
Building a computer how hard could it be?
Ok I've had a steadily dying computer for a while now and I'm sick of it.Now I'm quite cautious with things like computers and I don't know how long it's going to last until I cant play games on it.My friend suggested I should " stop b ing and make your own" so i would like to know What parts for playing the latest games should I be getting and were can I get them in the UK?Is it difficult to put together?Will I need a custom made case?I presume that the only things I'll need are solder and screws?

i haven't got a virus as i have checked but whenever i google something such as " Wikipedia" when i click on the wikipedia link it brings up a different search engine such as " ask jeeves" or something annoying like that.what do i do? its only been doing this for a day or sothank you for any answers in advance
Help save my computer help?
we want to fix our computer but it got a virus and we cant get on windows or safe mode. were on system recivery options in repair mode and we can get in the cmd. we cant restoe cuz it says no restore points pls hellp we wannt our files
