Can I use a domain name from godaddy on webs?
I have a website I created on webs.com that's a .webs.com site, and I want to buy my own domain for it. Godaddy has better prices than webs. Can I buy a domain on godaddy and transfer it over to my webs.com site?

Mac can't see the google domain?
I have an environment where there are 15 pc's and 7 mac's. Two of the mac's can't get to any google domain google mail, calendar, google.com etc . The other mac's and all of the pc's can see the domain with no problem. I've released renewed the IP's, flushed the dns cache. I can ping google.com and I can go directly to 74.125.127.105 google main search but once I there and try to search nothing happens, just a blank screen while it hunts for the domain. No errors. I've rebooted the comcast cable modem and the firewall and switch behind it. Again, none of the other mac's have this problem. I'm not a mac guy and I don't know what OS version it is, but I can't do a tracert google.com from the terminal. Can anyone help?Also, the hosts file has been checked and it's normal. I doubt it's the firewall or switch because the other mac's and PC's are fine.The temp internet settings cookies everything have been deleted and the DNS cache flushed. No help. There are 3 different browsers on the mac's that aren't connecting and they all cannont connect. I forgot to add.. the oddest part of all.. they won't connect while on a wired connection but if they are wireless they WILL connect.

umm....i made a website for the gift export thing at webs.com....when i made it...they said that i can change it later to name .com...instead of name .webs.com...? but nw they r asking for an authorization code.....what to do???? i hav to remove it 1 by the way... the site name is essenceofbengal.webs.com ....plz check it out and see if they want webs or just .com ...thank u
How to fix domain name issue need help?
I have a domain name with godaddy and i forwarded but and works but the thing is for ex thecoolsite.com forwarded it to howtosoundbetter.host.com and now when i type in thecoolsite.com takes me there BUT when i click something else it doesnt say thecoolsite.com register you know?it just stays thecoolsite.com anyone know how to fix this.

I want to start my own website. I need something simple and easy to manage. I don't have any experience in web designing so I might need a web designing program too. I want to be able to add members to the site... and eventually hope to make some income from the site. I have heard of free web hosting sites and ones that charge a monthly fee like " go daddy" . Are free web hosting sites reliable? I have all the ideas just need to know how to get started. thanks So which one would u say is the best one to buy from? And what program to develop it?

I have Charter internet which uses Netgear. I have one desktop and laptop which are both connected and working fine but when I try to connect it on a third laptop this is where i run into trouble..i know the User name and the Network Key however for some reason on this computer it also asks for the log in domain??? im not sure what that is..i googled it and tried putting in 192.168.1.1 but it still didnt work PLEASE HELP...i really need this computer to work and I know very little computers..i only want to call the company as a last result because last time I tried to have them help me with something is was DISASTEROUS.p.s. the computer is a HP Pavillian Vista THANK YOU
