Why can't dvd-rw play on my dvd player?

when i send it to mode b it saysmode b donescaning hardware changesthe it says not hitachi dvd drives where found. When I click on open and close the dvd drive does workthen when I try to do the 79 unlock it says it fail to play 79 unlock audio cdIve hacked xbox before but just benqs and toshibasany ideas on what it could be?
How to Put PS2 Games on a dvd rw?
Hi,I just dowloaded spiderman 3 ps2 NTSC. Now I want to put it on a dvd rw and make it play on my ps2. I first copied the iso directly on the dvd rw. It says on my ps2 please ensert a playstation2 formatt disc. So I formatted the dvd rw. Should I extract the iso file and then write it to the dvd rw to make it work? Or should I use any other software not Alchohol 120 % but sumthing else to write it on the dvd rw and make the dvd work?

I made a movie on windows movie maker and burned it to a disk, i tried dvd r and dvd rw, both work on my computer and play the movie but neither will work in my dvd player. I need this disk ready by tonight, can someone help?

This basic question was answered doesn't but the answer doesn't work for me.I have a Magnavox ZV427MG9A, that doesn't come with a tuner. It has no coaxial cable input, it has other inputs outputs video, audio and a bunch of other inputs. I have a VCR that has a tuner.Can I run the cable into the VCR, out that to the non tuner dvd vcr player and have it record etc normally and be able to watch one channel and record another??My TV is an older model and does not have hdmi ports. The dvd vcr plays on the TV when the TV is in Game mode, but when I record anything, it's blank.

How does a cd/dvd lens cleaner work?
I was thinking of buying a cd lens cleaner to clean the lens on my dvd burner on my computer, the lens on my standalone dvd player and the lens on my hifi cd player but I was wondering how it actually cleans a lens, the lens cleaning cd I saw in the shop looks like an ordinary cd disk I thought it would have brushes on one side to wipe clean the lens so what does it do to get the lens clean, also would it be okay to use a cd lens cleaner to clean the lenses on a cd player, a dvd player and a dvd burner or would I need special lens cleaners for each one

Xbox 360 is telling me i put a DVD in when i put a game in and it wont play games... HALP?
Ok so heres my problem. My xbox 360 has been workin fine then a couple weeks ago i put in a game to play and where its suppose to say Play Game it said Play DVD. So i took out the game and put it back in and it worked. For the last couple of weeks its been doing this more and more and now i cant get my 360 to recognize games as games. It just thinks my games are dvds and wont let me play them. It plays DVDs, connects to the net, and lets me use net flix just fine but i cant play any games cause it thinks all my games are DvDs. some of my games a a little bit scratched but most of them are in mint condition and it reads them all as DVDs. Please help.
How do I program my DVD remote to use it for my tv too?
I have a Panasonic DMR EA18 recordable dvd player and on the remote it shows the option to use buttons for the tv, like to change the channel and volume, but I don't know how to set up the remote to use it for the television. Can someone tell me how?
