Okay, I love photography a lot. It used to be a humongous hobby until college and work etc...?
But now I want to get back into it and I am at a loss. I love the look and feel of Nikon's D40 but now I'm really liking Canon's EOS Rebel XT. What is the best digital camera of the two? Or does anyone know of some that are better? I know a lot is based on opinion, but I want need the best bang for my buck Help Also, I am starting a baking business soon, soooo it will be used a lot, and it needs to be professional as possible Thanks
What is a good hobby camera for a beginner?
I am really interested in photography and want to take it up as a hobby. I dont need a top of the range camera, but i am willing to spend money for something of good quality. My maximum would be $1000 $2000. Can anyone suggest something? Thanks
I need a small motor, like a hobby motor?
I need a small hobby radio shack motor. Obviously I have no idea what it's called. All I need is something that when connected to a 12v battery will turn a spool, and can pull harder than a human. Where can I get this, or what is it called, or where should I start looking in order to get a cheap one?

Help checking a radio control controller (for a hobby car or plane) is working by using a oscilloscope?
I have connected the ariel from a radio control controller to a oscilloscope and ground to the negative terminal on the battery. There is a signal when I connect but nothing changes when I move the controls. What should I be looking for? Should the amplitude increase dramatically or is there something else to look for? The controller is a A.M. one.

I want to get started DJing as a hobby: Vinyl or CD?
I'm looking to spin electronic dance music like trance, house, happy hardcore etc. and I'm going to buy some decks and start practising soon. I don't know whether I should buy decks for vinyl or CD though, and I definitely can't afford both. Vinyl seems like it would be much more " hands on" for a lack of a better term, but I have a very, very small vinyl collection, but a huge music library on CD.Could someone please explain the various pro's and cons associated with vinyl and CD?

Begginer (Nikon) Camera's for a devoted photography hobby beginner?
Hi all, i want really to start with DSLR... The costs are not important... as i'm always devoted to what i'm trying to do .. i want the best .. and i can go and try for a long time years until i reach my goal .. Now .. for a DSLR.. since 3 months i keep collecting informations about camera's.. i've now considering Nikon's as my preferences.. i want to buy 2 camera's .. one high pro.. and one to start learning with and back up camera's.. What do you suggest ?? Nikon D80 as backup.. and learning the startup first ?? and D300 is what i'm looking to own ..Is D300 will take a long time for me to deal with ??Please your opinion ..I will buy the 2 camera's any way .. and i will buy the lens 105 VR, 70 300mm VR,for now.. Please advice me on how to start .. and the good lens.. i'm interested in nature , and wild life.. And glamour shoots with family and friends.Thanks..N.B. i'm profesional career.. photography is my only hobby our of hard 24 7 work..i mean i will take all what it takes.. and that i always prefer to start and work with the best.. if about learning .. D300 .. i can have what it takes to be familiar and pro with it.. unless it is really hard .. money is not important means as for a thing you love .. and the only thing you have joy with..So nobody suggest D3.. cause i prefer to invest in lens later .. Electronics Hobby: What's the best Micro-controller to learn about?
Although I do have some formal electronics experience I am looking to get into Micro controllers as a hobby. I bought a cheap PIC16F84A along with a JDI programmer I believe it was all part of the same deal on ebay . I was wondering though if this was the best chip family for someone to start with. I realise that AVR chips are good as well.I also understand that what you want to do with the project determines the chip to use, I am looking for initial exposure to the whole thing, it doesn't matter what I am able to make at this point.
Photography - New Hobby?
I want to start a new hobby of photography which i've always been interested. I currently have Samsung L700 7.2mp samsungcamera.com product pro view.asp?prol uid 2695 do you think this will do to start with?? I will be buying a SLR in Sept 2010 need to save , but would love a digital camera with a similar effect of the quality and sharp pictures which i can use whilst on holiday soon.... Any ideas of a reasonable digital camera under 100ish to get some nice pictures... or the best way to maximise the use of my current camera for the next year??
