Can i text with my iPAQ(pda)?
i have an iPAQ with internet on it. It basically looks like this one bestezonlinestore.com images T PDA8421SL.jpgIs it possible to send texts on it? I've signed into yahoo with it and i can't find a text option. I've also tried to use messenger with it but i still have the same problem. when i sign into mail and click on contact it automatically takes me straight to email with no text option. when i sing into messenger it automatically takes me to chat. please help me with this problem

Best PDA for an 8th grade girl?
I am going to 8th grade and I want a PDA because my whole middle school life has been so unorganized. I don't want the phone and internet on it. But i also don't want some cheap looking plastic thing. But I don't want to pay no more than $80.00 for it. I was thinking about a Palm Pilot, but they are expensive and have wifi and all. Please help me. I want it to be cute, you know, cause I am a girl and I don't want it to be boyish.... please help me. I atleast want it to look a little girly...and nice. I also want it to be easy to use. And I want the words to be easy to read. I also would like it to have a backlight, but if not, thats ok i guess. Please help me to find a nice one. Do you have to use the internet for a PDA phone?
I need a pda phone to stay organized and plan things because the old fashioned paper planners don't work for me anymore. The catch is that I don't want to have to pay extra for internet on my service. Can I get by without the internet, or do I have to use it at times for updates and such? I could use some advice.

PDA phone - GPS for emergency?
If any existing freewares for PDA phone mine is Windows Mobile that use its GPS device and phone to send emergency SMS calls with gps location to some pre input telephone numbers such as home, friends, police or etc? As I am thinking that just a simple icon button with confirmation then a emergency message with GPS location will be send out. Suggestion for a non-internet PDA whose main function is a good Datebook/Scheduler?
What device PDA has a good electronic calendar datebook scheduler each company seems to call it something else , which can be edited on a pc? I use my cell's calendar datebook function more than anything else, and is frustratingly slow. Motorokr Z9M or something. I have extra memory and it is cleared of non essentials, and I've worked with Moto and US Cell, so I don't need advice in that direction. It's just a slow phone. I don't want a smartphone which requires internet $ charges. I just need a device with a calendar where I can set many reminders. Some daily,weekly,monthly, etc. Many per day, so being able to sit down at my pc notebook and edit the reminders would be wonderful. Anybody use a device like this which would fit my needs? Then I can use the separate device for my schedule and be able use my cell's music player and camcorder again. A simple device would be best, but if any of the new gadgets like Ipads or whatever would work well and have lots of other nice features which will not slow down my scheduler, that's fine also. Needs to be small enough to carry around with me, preferably in a front pants pocket, like the size of a cell.
