What are your favorite cheating recipes?
Let clarify that I'm talking about food here, not marital infidelity lol. A cheat recipe is a culinary shortcut. You take a pre made or boxed item and modify it to make it your own. Thus, you can save time and " dress up" the generic item with good ingredients and flavor that wasn't in the original, maybe even fooling your family or guests into thinking that you cooked from scratch. Adding wine and spices to store bought tomato sauce is one example. What are your favorite quick and tasty cheat recipes?

Detailed list of what a vegan can eat, and maybe website to find vegan recipes?
Ive been a vegetarian for a little over 2 years now, and I'm lactose intolerant. Id be really excited to take the next, and very close step, and become vegan. I know you can't eat any animal products, but could someone make a list of foods a vegan can't eat? Including the ingredients that many people would have no idea came from animals? Thanks so much < 3

Are there any recipes for making your own chocolate snacks like snickers, mars, maltesers etc?

Is there a website that lists recipes containing ingredients you have?
I was just looking through my cupboards for stuff to eat I have nothing promising, but plenty of stuff that looks like it could go into making something really good. The trouble is, I have no idea what might possibly be made from the ingredients I have. Is there a website that allows you to tell it what stuff you have lying around your house, then gives you recipes that use that stuff? Something like that would be enormously useful, so I'd be surprised if there isn't something like that online somewhere.

WWI Recipes for school project?

I looked up some recipes online, but none of them are dishes really made on the home front. Does anybody have any website links or know any recipes to fit this description?

Recipe for Vietnamese Chargrilled Pork (Bun Thit Nuong)?
Does anyone know how to prepare this dish? just the meat part I have tried the obvious route, marinating the meat pork shoulder in a sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper and then char grilling it. But it still wasn't like the what you get in good vietnamese restaurants. Mine was too tough and dry and didn't have that dark carmel color or intense flavor that I wanted. It seems like most other recipes for it online are written by inexperienced amateurs. I would really appreciate some pointers. Thanks
