Do employers consider hobbies on a resume?
Like many people now, I'm hunting for a job. All the sites I go to have a section titled " Interests & Hobbies" on the so called resume page.I'm wondering if employers or the automated resume scanners care about items listed in said section if those items directly relate to the job they are looking to fill. The example here is that I'm looking for a technical job in the field of electronic component microprocessor design I've never worked in the field though and the hobbies I list are directly related to that field.
What should I have in my resume?
I'm hoping to apply for Visions Electronics, it's just like Future Shop, at a smaller scale. Do you guys have any idea what I should include in my resume? And to make things even easier for me, do you guys have a template for resumes? I'm stuck on how to lay out the information properly with neatness. Thanks in advance

Is it ever ok to leave dates off your resume? (Please read details!)?
Over the past couple of years my spouse and I have moved around a little because of the economy and jobs. We moved from Florida to Oregon to Louisiana to Oregon and now we are heading back to Florida PERMANENTLY . Any way, my experience is great, and I have held some great jobs. But now that this has happened a few times, it looks like I leave my jobs within a year. I thought of putting " Experience from 2002 2010" and list the jobs out, but not put specific years by them. I have been a hiring manager for most of the past 5 years, and think my resume is perfect now, but those dates are killing. I'm just not sure how I would react to a resume without dates. HELP PLEASE

What's the right way to drop off a resume at a restaurant (kitchen position)?
There is a restaurant that I absolutely love that I really want to work at. I've worked at one restaurant before and I've gone to culinary school. But this is my first time actually searching for a job, on my own without recommendations, and I really don't know how to ask if there are any open positions. I know that I need to go to the restaurant and ask for any openings in person and hand them my resume at downtime, 3 4pm , but this particular restaurant closes down with a steel gate in front of the door like those in mall shops. So I can't knock on the front door. However, the back door seems to lead directly into the kitchen would it be rude to knock and ask to speak to someone? And if I do, who do I ask for? It seems to be the only visible door that isn't totally locked down... but I don't want to disturb the cooks. I was thinking maybe I should just call the restaurant, but it doesn't seem like the best way. If it's just acceptable, I'd like to know.Any advice helps, especially from those who are in the field and have experience with job hunting for cooking positions. I really want this job, more than anything, please help
I am currently writing a resume and I was wondering what I should include in it?
I am 14 years old and I am applying for a job at a local pizza place I would most likely be cleaning up, making pizza, taking orders, etc. What should I include in my resume that would make me seem like a competent employee? I have some thoughts. To make me seem more well rounded, should I include that I have been dancing for 11 years, curling for 2 years, am an honour roll student, been doing and taking art lessons for 5 years... etc. ???? Or should I just include my objective, my employment history, etc.?? Thank you very much in advance for the help Just to clarify I have been " employed" before, but as a dance assistant but I wasn't technically paid... I was just given 5 dollars off of my dance bill for each class I assisted... does this count as past current employment?
