Do you think social networking sites can negatively impact your relationship?
Relationships are hard enough and now with all the different social networking sites, do you think it can cause more issues in relationships? It seems like everyone has such a need to stay in touch with ex's on these sites or become friends with so many people of the opposite sex that it leaves too much room for temptation. My bf and I have one and it seems like it has only been causing problems for both of us. His mom is even keeping in contact with my boyfriend's ex girlfriends through FB. Is this normal? I think people need to put more attention on the person they're with now rather than people from the past.
Are there any good social networking sites for parents?
Looking for a website for parents to meet other parents, to make some connections, maybe leading to some friendships. I know there are plenty of ways for moms to network with each other, but I'm specifically looking for something either for both parents, or just for dads. Having a hard time meeting people to make new friends. Married with three boys age 3, 6, and 9 .Let me clarify...I want a site that will help us meet real people in our local communities.

I'm really a smart, bright girl. Just sayin'.I have a tagged, but never let anyone know what state I'm from, dont let them text me, and my username isn't even my name. It's something like, " TwixsAregood P" . They ask for my name, I give them a nickname. I even have a devout facebook just for tagged friends with my lame username and not my real name. I only talk to people. Is this safe? Because I like a guy, we talk via tagged and fb and i've talked with his cousin, seen pictures of him, etc. We are interested in just having a fun online relationship, with no meeting up or personal info. So my bf and I hv been 2gether 4 almost 6yrs. About 4 years ago he saw that I left a comment on my ex's page telling him to call me..Now I kno that it looked bad, but I was HONESTLY jus making small talk and I Honestly meant nothing by it. So I deleted my MySpace and Facebook after that. Earlier this year there was a girl who made a comment about my bf on MySpace so I made another profile. I also made a Twitter and Facebook AGAIN this year. He's been knowing about me having all of these social networking profiles. Today he comes over my house out the blue and says " SHOW ME YOUR TWITTER PAGE" So with no hesitation, I showed him the page, he also wanted 2 kno who I was following and who I'd been talking 2. He wanted 2 read ALL of my tweets EACH AND EVERY 1 I took the phone 4rm him and told him that I am not a child and he cannot just go through all of my tweets like he looking 4 sum10 that I could b hiding. He had a HUGE COW and told me that He did not wanna b with some1 who had any profiles online. IDK what 2 do. I love him but I cant let him have so much control over my life. I explained to him that it is strictly for networking with friends..I dnt add people that I dnt kno and I dont Converse with any of my exes. What should I do????Thanks He does not hv any profiles. He thinks that MySpace etc. is like MATCH.com. Anytime my phone rings and I tells him that its an email iPhone, it really is my email He automatically assumes its some1 4rm MySpace r Facebook. He's only 22 and he acts like an old man. He doesn't get the concept of anything online.
