I'm really a smart, bright girl. Just sayin'. I have a tagged, but never let anyone know what state I'm from, dont let them text me, and my username isn't even my name. It's something like, "TwixsAregood P " . They ask for my name, I give them a nickname. I even have a devout facebook just for tagged friends with my lame username and not my real name. I only talk to people. Is this safe? Because I like a guy, we talk via tagged and fb and i've talked with his cousin, seen pictures of him, etc. We are interested in just having a fun online relationship, with no meeting up or personal info. THIS IS SAFE, right?! Because some people says its not. Thanks so much @AutomaticallyCorrect. I'm going to think long and hard before I even talk about dating a guy I don't even know...Me being so oblivious is actually quite immature and pathetic of me. Thanks so much!

Doesn't sound too bad....but remember that it's not about what it is NOW, it's about what it implies or what it could lead to. And also remember, that talking to ANYONE online, no matter about what or what you share with them, is like talking to someone while you have a blindfold over your eyes. By that I mean, even if they tell you they are a certain someone, a certain age, or certain whatever....you can't know that for sure. You're blindfolded, permanently, (until you actually meet the person, which I don't suggest you do), and so you don't have any proof of whether what they are saying is true or not. So based on this information, you decide. You "like " a guy who you don't plan on meeting or anything - you just wanna have a "fun " online relationship. And while all those intentions may be true and innocent, the facts are that you can't ever really like a person you don't really know. I'm not talking physically, but just in general. You don't know if he's a liar or simply not who he says he is. Just as it's easy for you to make up a fake username, it's easy for anyone to make up a fake personality or a fake story. Just watch out.
