How do I call a wordpress plugin outside the wordpress folder?
Basically I want to display recent blog posts using the plugin. But I want to use it in the main index.php file that is outside the wordpress folder which then connects to wordpress for the blog only.The code I normally would use is this < ?php mdv recent posts ?>

How to make customized permalink in wordpress, using own numbering or data.?
WORDPRESS, how can I create custom permalinks for urls like mysite.com MY NUMBER , I do not want to use %post id % as it is database driven and autogenerated, I want to assign the number to the post myself in order of their time.I can do it by putting numbers in post title and having permalink asmysite.com %post title % . But I do not want to use post title. Any other way to create number based permalink like mysite.com 43 ?

Uploading Wordpress content throught Filezilla.?
Hello,I have been trying to upload the latest version of Wordpress, and wordpress themes but I always get a message like, " Cannot locate root directory." or, " Cannot locate WP Content." I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. All I do is unzip it and transfer it to my ftp site. Has anyone had this trouble before? If so how did you fix it.Thanks in advance
